Sprouts are popping up :)

2/18/11 Hello hello my friends. With the warm open-window weather Austin has been having this week, my garden has begun to sprout 🙂  I have snow peas, snap peas, beets, carrots, dill, cilantro, and parsnip little green fingers pushing & stretching through the earth. I am so excited-they survived the frost. Now I need to run and get more dirt for the 3 rd raised bed so I can get my tomatoes and peppers into the ground.  I will be taking some photos tonight and will post either later tonight or tomorrow night. As for tomorrow I will be on location doing production stills for a small film here in Austin from 7am-4pm. Grant me the serenity to stay awake and alert.  This is a pro bono job with credits in the film and a free copy for myself to keep, plus all the experience I can get and question. Next week I have 2 regular shoots so far.  A model/acting portfolio for a nice gentleman and a live musical performance at the Parish. In between I will be shooting on location with a feature film called “The Association” being filmed entirely in ATX. This could be a month of weekday work if I would like but it also being pro bono I am not sure how much time I can commit to them outside of websites, my own photography gigs, and my kids. These are the first steps to learning this phase of photography and becoming a travel photographer sprawling out all over the world without a single care.  Ahhh until then….snap snap. 🙂 Oh & ps–keep your fingers crossed I am in the running as photographer for a SXSW event–7hour gig with celebrities and BBQ–HOW could you say no to celebrities and BBQ?? Love-Kelly
